Major coolant leak
A few months ago my wife's car started over heating on longer drives. I let the car sit all winter but last week when I started it up it started leaking coolant bad. I replaced the water pump thinking that was it after reassembling the car and filling up the radiator with water it started leaking again. It looks like it is leaking on the back side of the block above the oil filter.
Is this common at all? how do I fix it.
Thanks James

Re: Major coolant leak
2002? You're in the wrong section, hombre. This is 92-00. You want Honda Civic (2001-2005).
That said, and if memory serves, you should have the D17A1 motor, which is similar (if not the same) to the D16's we're used to. Short an oddly blown head gasket or intake manifold gasket, I can't think of anything back there that would cause a coolant leak. Granted, this might also be a problem specific to that motor, and I don't really know anything about it short of what's standard to the D series, so I don't want to point you in the wrong direction.
Try the 01-05 section.
