Maintenance Tips?
Hey
Can someone put some some maintenance tips? I was shopping at Advance Auto for a new air filter and they were advertising the "forgotten" filters. I feel like I'm neglecting my car cuz that was the first time I heard about all those filters. Maybe I'm not taking care of my car as well as I thought I was. (it's at 98K now). I just read up on Seafoam too. Horrible.
Anyways... please post..

Fuel filter, air filter, and oil filter. Those a the 3 big filters.
A run down on seafoam:
It's a controversial thing. Some people swear by it others want to burn it. Personally, I love it and use it every/everyother oil change. What it does is helps burn off the carbon build-up in the engine and intake. It will make your car idle a lot better and when I do it I notice an increase in gas milage by about 20-30 miles (out of the take so ~2-3 more miles to the gallon). Some say it is way to harse and you should use water. I want to try this method but I'm affraid of putting water into my intake. It's up to you.
