maintenance required went from green to red. what happened?
so you know on the 99-00 si cluster how there is the little thing on the bottom that says maintenence required? well usually it is green. i noticed the other day that mine had turned to red. the car seems to be running fine. i changed the oil, changed the pcv valve, reset the ecu. its still there. is there something that usually happens to cause this to go red? is it just set on the miles and when it gets to a certain mileage it changes? i know its almost at 90k on the cluster so could this be why?

If you look next to that little square, you will see a slot for a key. Stick the key in there and it will go back to green. That little "light" isn't anything. It's just for the stupid people that dont ever do maintance.
