Default Main relay problems

Hello guys,
I've got a 93 civic ex, all stock as far as I'm aware d16z6.
I'm outside and it's raining and this guy doesn't want to start.
I'm getting 1 click from the main relay when I turn the key to position 2, but that's it, it won't give me the other 2 clicks.
The CEL stays solid.
I cleaned the ground at the thermostat housing.
What's next on the diagnostic tree?
Thank you for reading.

Just went through a similar problem on my 93 del sol (d16z6) I assume the clicks you are referring to not hearing are the fuel pump starting and stopping.

This thread has the advice given to me to solve the problem. https://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-d...start-3234951/

Also download the FSM. It has a diagnostic tree in it.

Thanks a lot, I'll be checking for an ecu fault.
I'd download the manual but I'm on mobile in front of a parts store.

So I think I've grounded a7
And I can't hear the pump.
It's terminals 5 and 7 on the main relay that should make the pump work right?

I found a leaking capacitor and what looks like more damage around it, so I'm thinking I'm going to need a new computer.
The capacitor was disconnected, says c24 and the area around it is a lighter shade of green.

How did you end up finding the ECU malfunction? Did you find the bug inside the ECU?

Edit: What I said about testing the relay was stupid. I think im gonna do mine agin too.

I read the thread posted by user belairbrian, from what I understood from Jon@HT's diagnostic instructions, if you turn they key and your main relay doesn't cycle properly and the check engine light remains on, the fault is with the ecu. A coworker who used to be a Mazda mechanic also asked if my light was illuminated and if it ever went out, I told him no, the light stays on, he said the fault is in the ecu.
Since my check engine light was remaining illuminated and I had tested the fuel pump and main relay to be good, I opened the ecu case and found a capacitor had been leaking acid for long enough to damage the board and disconnect itself from the board.
I ordered a remanufactured ecu from Borg Warner and installed it. The main relay now cycles immediately like it used to when I first bought the car.
