Re: Main Relay location 93 Civic EX (Doctor CorteZ)
It's under the dash, by the hood pop latch. Just a small box, bolted down with a 10mm and a harnesss plugged in.

by the way, you don't have to spend $50 or more on a brand new one. The 90-up accord, 90(?)-up integra, and probably countless other Hondas use the same part. Visit the local pick-a-part yard. It's a very small part...
Damn heat down south here seems to kill those PGM-FI main relays...

Did I say buy?
Besides, my original one went out at 230k miles, and the junkyard one that I got to replace it is going on 2 years...
Also, how many times have you had to replace yours? The key is getting a used one from a low-mileage car.

Re: Main Relay location 93 Civic EX (nuc79)
I've replaced mine twice, by making the mistake of getting a "low milage" used one
Sorry, last I checked $50 doesn't make anyone made of money. The other day my friend went to pick one up and they were $42 I believe, and my Honda friend quoted me $35. I think its worth it for reliability. Yeah go ahead and get a used one, its your choice. Won't be me stuck in the sun when my car won't start.

Phil, If you really can get one for $35 from a dealer, let me know where or give me his name. I'd jump on that deal just to have a spare
This shows the list price as being $52.10(plus tax), and that's what my local dealer wanted, too. I was just strapped for $ at the time, that's why I went to the j-yard. Oh well, to each his own...

Re: Main Relay location 93 Civic EX (tpr)
My Bud Stuart from ManHonda.com just sent me a relay marked "RZ-0088"
Instead of RZ-0132 as listed on my old relay as well as what is listed on Majestic's website
does any one know if it is the same?

Must not be the same relay. Shouldn't cost any more than the other guy said of $50 something for the EG/90-93 Accord/Integ and so forth.

Right again. The 86-89 accord uses a different relay, as does the 88-91 civic.
