Main power supply to alternator where does it go???

Main power supply to alternator where does it go???
Hey i need to know where the main supply wire that connects to the bolt on the alternator. It goes into the loom of the harness i need to go get a new one cause the connector broke off cause the wire is so old and fragile. So does it go to a power source in the harness or what??
