Mai Black 2000 Civic Si EM1 Build
So ... here we go again haha
I got myself a new project! A 2000 EM1 ... for the most part, I just got it as a rolling shell with interior. Here are a few pictures of how I got it ...
First thing I did was buy a couple fenders from JDMCARBOY and primered the front end ...
oh and it's a CLEAN title

As for the engine, I noticed it had a bad connector and found out that it was a crank position sensor ...
Got the new one installed and while the engine was out, did the timing belt and water pump.
oh, and mounted up the tranny

Re: Mai Black 2000 Civic Si EM1 Build
it was missing the tranny, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, linkage, cluster, fenders, header bolts, radiator, rims ... bunch of stuff. And now that I am getting more into it, a few mounts and I'm sure more to follow ...
Just going to use it as a DD, maybe even trade it when it's done knowing myself. Not sure yet.

Re: Mai Black 2000 Civic Si EM1 Build
thanks guys!
well late Friday night we were able to get some of the mounts in
but Houston, we have a problem ...
one of the mounts I got in the mail was different, drivers side mount on the engine is a 3 post and the one I got is a 2 post.
So, if anyone out there has this 3 post L bracket thing, PM me please!

Don't know where that engine came from, but it looks like you have the wrong drivers side engine mount post, not the mount
Here is a new one i bought for my engine

You actually need the 2 post block mount for this to work. Part number 11910-P30-000.

You thought about tucking the headlight wires in the fender? Doesn't take that long and since you got everything out it'd be a little easier.
Nice find though I'll be keeping up with this build and the best of luck!
