Magnaflow 4x9 muffler – 14" or 18" body?

I'm about to order a Magnaflow muffler for my 98 EX coupe, but am not sure if I should get the 14" body (20" overall lenght) or the 18" body (24" overall lenght). I realize the longer one would be quieter, but would if fit? I've already got DC Sports cat-to-axle piping (my muffler was stolen), so I'll just have a pipe bent to connect the two ends.

Also, what size is an ES-Oval?
