Default MagnaFlow 4x9 2.25 or Es Oval 2.25

MagnaFlow 4x9 Oval Aluminized Muffler

or
Es Oval 2.25

I have 2.25 downpiping with a stock CX muffler, sounds like crap. I want a deep sounding muffler that wont hurt my ears going 80MPH on the highway.

Is the 4x9 muffler the same size as the Es Oval?

if your going to get the magnaflow then get the stainless steel. just pick up there super turbo muffler. i hear is increadibly quiet by itself. just a notch up from stock with a race pipe and no resonator. i think thats what im gonna do. magnaflow

I have a magnaflow 2.5" welded to a buddy club 2.5" cat-back (with a resonator)and mine is also very raspy when I step on it. It's quieter than it USED to be but it's still louder than I was expecting. At crusing though its no louder than stock and it doesn't drone so I can live with it.

I will echo the comments above about the finish and build quality though, top notch.

Mike
