lubercation on the window tracks?

lubercation on the window tracks?
both of my windows are getting sluggish when i close it or open it, and almost every 3 months or so i have to tear it apart and spray some wd-40 on the tracks for it to go up and down smoother. (it has power windows) is there any other lubercation stuff that works better as in not removing the panels every 3 months or so? thanks

There's your problem. WD40 is actually a DEGREASER. Get some thick grease and smear that in there instead.

thats what i use, but every now and then i have to spray it in. the windows usually only get bad in the winter time.

Silicone lube, do not use grease, do not use WD40, do not use lithium, just use silicone lube. You will be very happy, it's clean and doesn't make a mess at all.

Maybe, any good hardwear store will have it. It is not a car specific item. It is really handy in the house for lubing all sort of things (hinges, drawer slides) cause it goes on dry and clean. And because it is silicone based it will not eat through some rubbers and plastics like some greases and oils will.

Lube spray is like $1 at any hardware store. Also, why do you take off your panels? I just spray it into the tracks and roll the windows up and down, works the same.
