B18a or B18b .... not B18LS
Golden Eagle makes an excellent kit.
Use the standard bore unless the sleeves are scarred.
Rods are fine. If you want some extra strength have them shot-peened. They will need to be machined to accept the B16 wrist pin.
Rod bolts are the weak link...upgrade with ARP.
Type-R oil pump is the same as any other VTEC oil pump.
Use Tri-metal bearings, VTEC Water Pump, and B18 Timing Belt.
Use the OEM pulleys.
Use the B16 Head Gasket (golden eagle kit will come with this)
No, you don't need a block guard.
I believe the H22 injectors will need a resistor box.
OEM Fuel rail and regulator should be fine.

Re: lsvtec set up.... help... opinions wellcome (NAlover)
so just put CTR pistons stock bore...
can i use my B16 water and oil pump???
i already have the UR pulleys the AEM stuff that my friend gave me because he did't have money to pay me what he owned me... so that gotta go with the buid up.
what would be the compression with the CTR pistons with fully built Jun stage 2 B16 head??? i don't wanna be too high on compression

The B16 oil pump/water pump will work perfectly.
I'd recommend the B16 (PR3) pistons for ~11.6"1 compression and the Skunk2 Stage2 Cams.
With a Hondata and a good tune, you should be closing the gap on 200whp.

If you're having a shop build it, and they already have a preference, just go with it. Let them build it the way they like, and with what's worked for them.

With CTR pistons your compression will be extremely high for pump gas, i believe ~12.4:1, but dont quote me, personally i wouldnt use for a daily driver. 12.5:1 compression and up has to be ran on race fuel also. Good luck!

Re: (JDMracer17)
I know what you are saying and its true. BUT we have 93 octane gas in FL and i dont use my car too much i live 5 minutes from work. BUT yeah 12.5-1 is high i know that too but the shop has built 4 engines with the same sep up, and those cars are daily driver. they told me good tunning HONDATA, 93 octane you will be fine... BUT i don't really know what to do ...
