LSV build, cranks over but doesn't even try to start
Hi i am having a little trouble with my car, its a 2000 si, started with a b18b1 motor ran great and i bought a gsr head and put that on now.
-Timing is dead on
-Car is converted to obd1 with a jumper harness running on a chipped p28
-Harness came out of a 99 civic dx
I am getting spark, and i am almost positive im getting fuel because i can smell it while i try cranking it over. No leaks though. Fuel pump primes, relay clicks
Just finished going over all of my valve clearances and they are good.
Car doesnt sneeze or anything, just cranks and cranks.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Make sure the cam sprockets are properly timed to the cams. When the engine is at TDC, the slot that drives the distributor should be vertical. Not sure how to check the other cam.

I am positive cams are positioned correctly and the cam does face vertical for the distributor at tdc. a
I checked spark before posting this, I do get a bright white light.
Currently running a basemap off crome but shouldn't the car still cough or even try to start??

alright........... ill try to aide with what little i know---
SO..... lets talk about your harnesses.... so youre running an obd2b EM1 dash harness in the car, and you're using an obd2b DX engine harness, yes?
if you are, i think the next area would be your fuel injectors / tune.
what injectors are you running, and can you confirm your tune is set to utilize the injector size in your build??? i am currently running RDX injectors (410cc) in my civic, and i forgot that my tune wasnt set for them, so the car wouldnt start.
also----- check your big plug towards the back of the bay. its a big square that controls your injector electrical inputs and stuff. its a 1.5"x1.5" plug. usually its stowed away, so you may or may not have plugged it in (BoostedBoiz had this issue with their h22a turbo odyssey a few days ago--- crank no start--- plugged it in, ran instantly)
if that's not working, use some starter fluid and try a few sprays. if it starts with that, youre not getting fuel

Tune is set right for the exact injectors in the car but i will definitely look around for that plug and see if anything isnt plugged in again. Thanks for the advice everyone

Re: LSV build, cranks over but doesn't even try to start
I pretty much went through my entire harness checked all of the big plugs, everything is plugged in. Checked fuses, and i tried spraying starting fluid while having my friend crank the motor and it still didn't even hesitate or try to start at all.
