well im ready to pay to get an lsd on my car now i was wondering,since ist a new diferential will that replace the stock gears.

im confused here as you can tell im not that familiar with lsd.

tnx but i still dont know if the lsd will replace stock gears or not (my 3rd grinds little so dont wannna put lsd till i fix it in case it does not change stock gears)

does it grind all the time or just going into gear??

when going into gear @ higher rpm (when racing)

synchronizers not necesarily bad just shifting too fast (i do it all the time )

A LSD does not replace any gears. Its just the diff.

My Cusco LSD


The big gear (ring gear) i pulled off my stock peg-leg diff and swapped over. All ya get is the LSD.

If your tranny is grinding, id recommend you have it rebuilt at the same time as the LSD install - save ya some money in the long run.

took the tranny to the shop and they told me the gears were fine. the grinding was me shifting to fast.

the gears probably are fine, its the syncros that cause the grinding.
