LS/Vtec is built...not a motor you generally can buy from lets say a website or honda

You can have it built to when you want vtec to come in and what power to produce

bro, you seriously dont know anythin about motors or cars, first of all. we cant tell you how fast a lsvtec is gonna run on the track, that depends on many things. tires, ecu, extra parts added. etc.....
We cant tell you where the vtec opens because it all depends on other things, not the motor.
Lsvtec is a built motor, they all run different.
Lsvtec has its good things and bad things, one of the bad things is since is a built motor, they dont last like a regular b,h,k series motor. yes, lsvtec is a b series but is built but they tend to brake after a certain number of miles and also the way you drive it. I would tell you to get another motor, but It seems you dont know anythin bout cars, oh i got an idea..
D-series would be good for u.

ls vtec is just a base model integra bottom end with a gsr, type r, or b16 head straped on. They suck tho and lack many of the quality gsr botton end parts.

... In all honesty, why not go with an H22A swap? The motor is already pre-assembled from Honda... There is no build at all. I am not entirely sure of the costs associated with an H22A swap... Although I do know that my friends in a race 'crew' that I'm with, swapped an H22A in their '94 Civic Si with little, to no problems other than the Oxygen sensor grounding out, and causing a few Fuel Pump fuses to 'pop'.

And the car is amazingly fast... To me at least, I'm used to the good old Z6

But just do your research, and I'm sure you'll find the project that's right for you

wow...this guy is crazy...but yeah...I dont think u should even think about doing it unless u know how to take care of it, obviously u dont so it would be a waste of money if u even try it because u will just **** it up...LSV is basically man-made...

ls vtec are worth it IF u build bottom end(piston, rods) you can get some good torque! but personally slapping a vtec head on a stock ls or b20 bottom end is not worth it to me.

also, were not trying to rip on u but there are SO many different factors on the questions u asked. Everyone one of those questions can vary in answer. for you, a d series or a b16 would be a good motor. Start reading up on stuff. I had the luxury of buying a built motor, had friends who helped me out and i eventually dove in and starting gaining some knoweldge as i had it. Start small, unless u have pro mechanics as friends

Don't be discouraged by what we say, everyone has to learn sometime, so again start simple with a reliable motor such as b16 and dive in. Gotta get dirty to learn, the only way! good luck!

I like my ls/vtec, and despite popular belief once you replace the the stk rods and pistons with stronger aftermaket forged ones your weak point is the same as any other honda engine, the sleeves. You can eliminate this by sleeving the block. The main of the ls is not as beefy as the gsr but can easily handle 400+ hp with no problem as long as the block and crank have been machined and ballanced properly. Tunning is also a key factor in making your car both reliable and giving you the ability to reach the maximum hp potential of your engine. The ls has a r/s ratio very close to that of a GSR.
