ls vtec swap ?, any help appreciated
im new to the honda scene but my mind is set on a quick ek for daily driver and some times at the track. at least 200 whp. ive been looking at the k swaps but are just too expensive for me. my friend's brother in law is selling a ls vtec with tranny. the price is 2500 bones and he said it was dynoed once at 211 whp. he said that it is coming out of his 90 integra and would give me the axles. he said the engine has these mods.
. omni valve springs and lifters and retainers
buddy club valves
blox intake manifold
type r pistons 82 mm
the rods where shot pinged
apr head studs
dc headers
I have the computer system for it. It is a GSR ecu with a Mugen
computer
chip For 200.00 more
I have the distibutor OBD1 with the MSD ignition system 135.00 more
1. i am confused on the wiring if i were to get an ek because its obdII. if someone could clarify the solution to this.
2. if the swap is hard or how much additional cash would be needed. also is this realistic numbers for this set up and is the price decent.
3. would these axels work
4. what is the additional things needed
5. he said it has stock cams, how much would these help
6. is the computer he giving me correct for my application

i do not see that engine making more than 180whp if it has stock cams and that kind of engine management, if you can even call a mugen chip engine management.
how well was it built? how well was it maintained? how was it treated? i would not buy someone else's potential headache, especially when it's an lsvtec. those things are so finicky if you dont do it right you're going to pay for it. the simple fact that he's probably lying to you would make me steer very clear.
