Default ls/vtec rebuilt questions

Mr prev set up was

b18a1/b16a3

weisco 12.4 :1 pistons
eagle Rods
arp rod bolts
arp headstuds
skunk 2 pro 2's camshaft
skunk 2 pro series springs and retainers
skunk 2 pro series high compression valves
skunk 2 pro series intake manifold
skunk 2 pro series cam gears
68' blow throrle body
rc 450 injecters
tri-Y tdm headers

tuned 198 Whp 129 Tq

my crankshaft bearings went out on me,and since the motor is going to be part we might as well see how we can gain more power,and the car is just sitting. Im arranging for a shop to fix it but at this point im wondering what can i do to get the most power for buck with still using the parts that i have,some of my friends suggested that i get a b18b1 block and just switch everything over,but i was wondering if i were to run a b20 block with type R pistons would the compression be high enough for my pro2 cams? WILL these pistons only fit in the Ls motors? from this part how would i obtain 220 whp with 1400 total
