LS/VTEC questions?
I was doing research about ls/v and one of the downsides is the pistons hitting the valves. My block is a B18b1 and i was wondering what piston/rod combo to use. Is it good to use B16 rods and pistons, or just use the rods with LS pistons? or B16 pistons and LS rods? Do the early model obd0 B16s have the same bore as my B18b1 or do i have to use the obd1 B16 rods/pistons? This is new ground for me so any information is great!

Re: LS/VTEC questions?
use the B16 pistons on the LS rods..
that'll increase the compress slightly.
Yes, the B16 and B18 all have the same bore size from factory. 81mm
