ls vtec problem!
hey whats up guys i have a problem with my lsvtec! it wont past 3200 rpm i do have cels but i cant check them! I had rhd conversion done but for some reason it wont let me check the cels.
so is there any thing i can check so i can fix this? iam getting fuel and spark, but for some reason it wont let me pass 3200 rpm
and it also idles at 2k
any suggestions will help! thanks
iam thinking it might be the computer (p72)

Re: ls vtec problem! (skUnK2jdm)
you need to find a way to tell what code/codes the car is throwing. Without knowing the problem its just a guessing game with too many places to start. Check the simple things first ex. Timing, vaccume leaks, unplugged sensors etc... But my guess is it's prob a sensor.

Did you have any cels before the swap? Make sure you did not leave anything disconnected. But like previously stated you cant have a guessing game with it you need to find out the codes.

p72 gsr ecu with a b16 head. . try picking up a b16 ecu or chipped ecu with a b16/typeR rom. but you must find a way to jump the cell to get the code in order to really know whats wrong. GL!

i think that reving part has something to do with the map and tps being mixed up.

hows your knock sensor?
that's the only thing thats ever thrown my car into limp mode... and a few other people i know.
make sure its a shielded wire..and that you in fact have one.
people will say it wont cause it to go into limp mode but it will..trust me.

Re: (skUnK2jdm)
dude you shouldn't be running a stock motor on a ls/vtec build
try getting a chipped ecu for your setup from http://www.phearable.net and see how that helps you out
