Default LS/VTEC Inquiry

How would i get the ls VTEC to rev higher than the stock rev limit of i belive 6800 RPM. And i want opinions because HATCH96y7 said something about the rev limit and oil splasher. Someone explain please im confused. I have an LS block and the b16 head is on its way!!
this is what he wrote: (quote) ls/vtec are a little riskier because u cant redline them as a gsr or itr they dont have oil squirters and other stuff (end qoute) Im going for reliable power!

well to clear this up a bit more cause i was tired the way to build the ls/vtec block is to replace internals and pistons and crankshafts but as gsr's they have oil squirters built into the block to cool down the pistons in thus letting them rev top 8200 rpm's safely as the ls's they dont have oil squirters letting them rev only to 6800 heres how this guy built his ls/vtec right
