Re: ls/vtec build
yea absolutely, not tryin to **** **** up lol. im going to order oem main and rod bearings, is it necessary to measure clearances there or ok to put in brand new bearing? with arp main studs and rod bolts of course

Re: ls/vtec build
definitely check the clearances due to the fact that it tells you to in the Oem service manual with any new part you install. everything you are doing looks great so far! keep up the good work.

Re: ls/vtec build
keep in mind if you are trying to get the most potential horsepower out of your rotating assembly the looser the better! there are a usually a few size options when using oem bearings. good luck

Re: ls/vtec build
it would be great if you found a GSR head as averse to a b16/typeR because the GSR head will yield more compression raising the potential for more horsepower.

Re: ls/vtec build
the best service manual to get is the (dont quote me on this) 92-93 integra because it came with both the b18a and b17vtec engine so it has all the info you will ever need on both ls and gsr engines. hope this helps
