ls/vtec beast

i was wondering wats the highest compression u can run on the street. i was thinking of running 12.5 on 94 octane. also does anybody know any good shops to get a ls/vtec built all motor. but from Pa. help me anybody.

was going to get by jeff evans but said hea to busy.

you can go as high as 13:1 if you have really big cams and a very good tune. but something like that wouldnt exactly be the best thing to drive on the street.

yeah like the man says 13:1 can be done, might as well say goodbye to even decent gas mileage.

I am at 13.3 on 93 octane with S2S2 cams with no issues at all but it took a hell of a lot of tuning to get it right.

Gas mileage doesn't go to **** either. It's just as economical as a stock EX as long as you drive with some sense.
