I'm not even going to try and explain this.
Here is a tip for next time https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch use that to answer as many questions as you can, that way people don't have to read the same question 11 times.

Can i ask you how u know that you can run a 15 in the quarter mile? You sound like u are sticking to what u know and u'll definatly run 15's... hmm u might have a blown engine

Re: LS VTEC (popzalot)
thats what i am doing right now, when you buy the head get a b16 head with the pr3 pistons and it will have your compression at like 12.3:1 so it will make a good difference.

<YAWN> Just put a B16 or B18 in you 93 HB and shoot a 75 shot! You'll be in the 13's easily, and still have the rest of the day to boink girls and drink beer. End of story

Re: LS VTEC (popzalot)
Listen, you really should look at some of the threads archieved in the search menu. They have some really good info.
Number one, lsvtec will vary sooooooooooo much depending on the build. Thats why its so hard to say what an lsvtec will do right out of the box. (They are not fast without any sort of work.)
Cost: Depends on the build, if you just take an ls block and vtec head, it'll still cost you around what? 500-1000 dollars just on the long block, if you start building it up, which is the smarter route, your going to get into some big bills.
I know people who have spent over 4K on their longblock alone. And i'm sure that people have gone WAY past that figure as well.
By the way you seem to be a bit wet behind the ears for this project. No shame whatsoever, we were all there before, but I'd might recommend to you not to jump into a fairly involved project. Perhaps just a regular b series swap to start off?
