LS-Turbo over heating problems
okay, i just got my car running after like 4 months...but now i got another problem...my car starts, runs, boost, but after driving around the block like 2 times, the temp gauge goes up super fast...i park my car, and open my hood..the motor is hot, the top of my radiator is hot, but the bottom is cold..WEIRD...and now my heater doesn't work too...just yesterday, i had to take out my radiator, and wash it out with hot water because i had water sitting in there and froze up...and then i filled it up with coolant....got my fan working...but still over heats.....any ideas????

OP said the rad is hot. If the thermostat wasn't opening the rad wouldn't be hot since the water is closed off and only circulating the block.
On the flipside, usually when you remove your rad extra debris goes into the thermostat and you have to change that too, so change the thermostat first, and then see what happens from there.
Sounds like a blockage - thermostat would create a blockage - check the thermostat first.
