hi I am going to do a motor swap soon and I am wondering how a ls turbo would sound and would it be fast too. would it sound nasty as **** or quiet and crappy because there is no vtec? or would it be better to turbo a b16a or a gsr motor and I was wondering if that would be better and I know that sounds Nasty a boy with a del sol lives in jax here and it sounds nasty as ****. just trying to get out there and find out what would be better?

like the gsr i saw welll that i see every saturday night its loud as **** nasty sounding i can hear vtec but you cant hear the blow off valve i was wondering how a ls turbo sounded

it all depends on what kind of setup you run, ya turbo, how much boost, exhaust system, etc. ls's are supposed to be cheaper than b16's and gsr's, do some research and see which one you like better, as for the sound, i dunno, i think it depends on what kidn of setup you have and maybe where vtec hits?

To the OP, why is the sound one of the things you care about the most? I would worry about how much it costs and compared to what you can afford and how much power it will make. The sound can be dictated or controlled by mostly the exhaust system as hondaboy4life said. Like he said also, do some reasearch, there is only 58943859083294832 billion threads on B16 vs B18.

get a good setup and a loud *** radio and turn the radio up so you dont hear how it sounds if you dont like it
