yeah u can put any b series tranny on as long as its a cable for a cable tranny motor or a hydro for a hydro one..

Yes it should be just fine. LS trannies have longer gear ratios so your car won't rev up as quickly as a GSR tranny. But as far as drivability goes, it should work fine.

Definitely keep it temporary. You're going to have the gear ratio of the LS tranny. It's like bolting a built D16 to a CX/VX tranny. Not worth it and will hurt performance. But, if it's temporary, go ahead. Bolts right in.
