LS swap into ej help...
So within the next two weeks i will be swapping my d15 out of my 93 DX into my 93 SI, and my b18b into my 93 DX. I will also be doing integra disks all the way around on the DX at the same time.
This will be my first swap, and i am a little uneasy about it all. Im just have a few questions i need answered before i start. I will be doing this over a 3 day period.
When i remove the b18 i need to remove the ECU aswell and any wiring to go with the b18's ecu, is it just a plug? or will i have to splice wiring and such? this is the part that im wondering about the most. When i look at the ecu on the b18 it has a yellow connector taped up with a rather large connector or somthing under the dash that is covered in plastic. Not sure what all that is when my dx doesnt have this...
Next question i have loooked for a detailed explaination on how to dissconect the slave cylinder, but cant find anything really...
And lastly, other then Fluids, oil filter etc. is there anything else i need to purchase in order to do the swap? It was recently rebuilt, has new water pump, tbelt, etc. Has a b16lsd tranny, act stage 2 clutch, dc sports short shifter.
I think thats all for now, if anyone has any tips or tricks they woud like to contribute that would be great.
