Holy ****, I just plugged "swap" into the search thingy and it came back with 185 results! Maybe you might find something about this "LS swap" thing there?

Re: LS swap in to a EG? (Archidictus)
Wow, some of the new guys sure do have high aspirations. I wish I was brave enough to try putting that huge Acura motor into a Civic.
Good luck to you sir.
EDIT: Even if you COULD get that huge thing into the engine bay how would you keep any of your other accessories? I mean power steering, A/C, etc. There's no way.

I heard the new RSX (the car that replaced the Integra) had a 6 speed in the Type S version. There's no possible way you could make that transmission and motor fit in though. Its a 2.0 liter for gods sake!

that would totally kill the weight ratio in the car. Think of all the structural reinforcements you would need to hold that motor in place. Not to mention the car would be so front heavy that the back tires wouldn't even touch the ground!

Hey, if you can manage to get the LS motor into this "EG" that he's talking about, then I guess anything is possible.
EDIT: HOLY CRAP!!! LOOK AT THAT THING!! I bet that cost AT LEAST 15k to get that in there!

Re: LS swap in to a EG? (IntegDa6)
Yo, actually it'll drop right in with the proper mounts. It shouldn't be a problem. There was a recent edition of Super Street with a 91 Hatchie with a Ls swap. So it's possible, any B-Series motor can be swapped into any civic. Don't believe the hype. But what you should really ask is if it's worth it. If you already have the motor fine but don't go and buy one to do the swap.

Re: (WrongWD)
This kid at my school told me he put a Prelude motor in his Civic. I was like dude, how can you fit a 2.2liter motor in the car... I was just reading Honda-Tech and they're flaming this kid because he thinks he can fit a 1.8liter motor. It's not possible, so then I did a burnout in my 00 HX coupe with an intake and exhaust and chirrped 2nd and 3rd gears... that "prelude" kid just sat there in his whack Civic... he doesn't even have a spoiler, hahhaha.

Re: (RotiEatter)
Honestly, an H22 is not only possible it's common. I have a friend with one. The only problem is that you can't lower the car cause the oil pan will scrap. But the car has dumped on DC's before (Integra Type-R). As soon as your friend figures out what he's doing wrong you should watch out. Plus the spoiler really doesn't add horsepower so who cares?

Re: (Hatchy-Ownzjo0)
looks like a stock gsr swap in an eg, with msd, dc headers, and some knock off HID"S. lol it don't even have any fuel upgrades, it mite even be pushing a 165 WHP to the wheels . damn that's like almost a mid 14. sec run. wow
