LS swap in a 92 CX...idle problems
I swapped a JDM B18B into my 92 CX about a week and a half ago. At first, I had 3 CEL codes: 14 (IACV), 17 (VSS), and 41 (O2 heater) and my idle was about 2200 rpm when cold, 1400 rpm when warmed up. Ther other day, I cleaned my IACV with carb cleaner, re-attached the wires that got pulled out of my VSS plug, wired up the 4-wire o2 sensor, and re-set my ECU. This got rid of all my CEL codes for good, but my idle is still around 1400.
I know the IACV is at least doing something because unplugging it makes the car nearly impossible to drive. In addition, I stuck my finger over each hole inside the throttle body and both have suction. When both holes are covered, the car idles about where it should. I can't see or hear any vacuum leaks anywhere.
Anyone know what could be going on to make my car idle so high?

You're talking about the screw on the throttle body that faces the passenger side, right? Everyone tells me not to mess with that...

Not yet...but I'm pretty sure I don't have air pockets in the cooling system because my temp. gauge doesn't fluctuate once the car is warmed up.

Re: LS swap in a 92 CX...idle problems (I have a big)
Ok, last night I removed the FIAV and couldn't find a screw anywhere on it. I did, however, find that the little piston inside the FIAV was stuck open. After correcting this problem with a screwdriver and some WD-40, I re-installed the FIAV and the car idle just as high as before. The only real difference is that now when I put my finger over the lower hole inside the throttle body, there is very little suction. The upper hole still has plenty of suction.
Today, when I was driving to work, the idle started bouncing from 800 to 1500 over and over, as if there was a vacuum leak somewhere. But again, I cannot see or hear any leaks.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I did that as well last night. Still no improvement...
