Hey all

Just got a four door eg9 and figured now I can actually fit in better on the Honda forums!

Well anyways here is my question.

Eventually I plan on swapping out the tired D15 for a B18 non vtec from an Integ BUT I live in Cali...

I just want to know some of the things I'll have to do legalize it.

I know the motor has to be of the same year as the car or newer but it'd be really helpful if someone could let me know just where should I start on legalizing it.

Also, I really want to boost it but the only legal turbo kits are GReddy (expensive) and for that engine I think that is it..

Is it legal for me to have the LS motor boosted with that kit? I'm wondering if the pandabears can give you ishh for it being in the Civic instead of the Teggy...

get a 94-01 b18b1, its straight forward. Get it reffed before you boost it. only a few things u gotta change up, be sure to get obd 1 intake manifold. I got mine in and got it reffed the next day. any questions PM me
