ls motor acting up.....
I am running a stock ls motor , I have a p75 w/ a XS engineering program, a walbro 255lph @55psi (cant lower psi w/ B&M FPR and tried stock fpr) and i am also using a 94 GSR distributor... at idle it idles at 200rpm, i adjusted the idle screw, cleaned IACV, adjusted timing to stock 16 degrees. Also when i take off in first gear it lags around 1000-2000rpms then starts to pick up and when i take it all the way to redline around 5800-7000 it studders and makes loud popping noise... would this be the cause of the ecu, fuel pump, or wrong distributor.. please help!!

will when u start the car when u step on the gas does it lags and making poping noise???if it's that then u probably plug in the sparkplug wire in wrong...if it's not that then u probably need a ls distributor....

Re: (kuteboi)
hmmmm...i tried to put an ls dizzy on my gsr motor and it wouldn't fit, how did you get a gsr one to fit on your ls motor?
i think its the fuel pump. why do you have a bigger pump if your not boosting? that pump is putting in more fuel than you need i would think. try putting in a stock fuel pump and see if that helps.

You said that you are running XS program (isn't it a boost program) your car is prolly running rich as a ****, try switching back to stock ECU.
