LS Manual into a '00 Auto? - Help please.
Well I'm picking up a 2000 Civic sedan, DX I think. It's auto and has a D16y7. I know I need axles, ecu, new mounts, new pedal assembly and shift linkage. I know of a few people selling LS' with tranny's and everything. I'm just asking around to what else I'd need and what parts would you suggest to get as far as mounts and everything. It's going to be a daily and I just want to swap it into this car because I know it's a clean car and clean title all around. Thanks for any help,
-Matt.

No, basically everything just bolts right in. You will need '99 - '00 Si mounts though, and you'll have to convert from a 3 wire to a 2 wire IACV. and do a little wiring for the starting circuit and backup lights. Its not all that much more complicated than a normal b-series swap.

Yeah. An auto to manual swap. This is fairly common.
I'd search for it myself personally, but it's more difficult because "auto" and "manual" are in a lot of threads which have nothing to do with what you want to do.
I believe you have to cut the auto bracket out though, plus you'll have to cut a hole where the auto shifter is too.

With a 6th gen you don't have to cut and weld like you do with the 5th gens, you can do the whole thing with factory mounts. as for the shifter hole you don't have to cut or anything, what i do is go to the junkyard and get the piece from a manual thats welded to the floor that inner shift boot snaps onto, just drill the spot welds out and then bolt it to your car.

I'm not really into 5th gens. I had remembered seeing DIYs on this that showed cutting for the shifter.

Re: (PLmatt91)
check out this link https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1998336 there are 2 auto to manual how-to specifically for 6th gen civics. but to answer your question you will need integra axles and the intergra intermediate shaft. you will also need a master and slave cylinder, this and everything else you need to know is outlined in the 2 guides i mentioned.
