i think my idle air control valve is bad.. won't start when its cold unless i keep giving it a little gas till it warms up and then it' will idle fine.. also my temp gauge goes up really really slow.. need new thermostat? anyone confirm?

do a good coolant flush you might have air in the lines cloging up.

If not then replace the thermostat

do both. t stats are like 15 bucks at your local parts place, and coolant should only be like 10 bucks

how could i do a good flush? just draining it prolly isnt enough some kinda air pump?
