ls engine!! what to do? what to do?
Hey guys I need advice! I have an ls engine in my hatch right now and I searched but didnt come up with much. I was wondering how much (just a rought estimate) it would cost for me to turn it into a ls/vtec... i want to put on a b16 head with maybe come civic type r cams and just the regular bolt ons. how much do you think that will cost?? or better yet does anyone know of a cheap turbo kit or how to build there own?? sorry for the long post but i need help! summers around the corner and i need power!

well im an auto-x'ing kinda guy, i would go with ls/vtec. for a basic conversion maybe will run you $1300-1700 depending on what kind of deals you get.

1,300 doesnt sound too bad.. since i already have the ls block it should be kinda cheap... i saw somewhere where you can get a complete b16 head for 500 and then throw in some pistons and cams for couple hundred more... i wonder what kind of power that would be making.

how bout boostin the LS...whatcha think 
when i get an LS swap in my civic, im throwing a B16 head on, and leaving the 9.2 c/r.....then savin for a turbo
