Ls boosted vs h22 and a 50shot in 92 hatch
im wanting to build a 13 second hatch for the best bang for the buck. What do you guys recommend to get me thier? I was thinking a boosted ls or a h22 with a little juice. What do you guys think?

an h22 swap alone would move a hatch to the 13's with lil effort on your part...
boosted ls would too....i dono what would be cheaper
haven't done ethier
oh yeah and SEARCH...been covered 10494859345 times

how did he know your price range.
post a price range and we'll tell you the best thing to do for that money.
but without it people just think you sound dumb.
H22 swap is going to run 6000
you will run 13s
boosting a stock LS is going to run 3500 + engine
you will run 13s
what are you spending, and what is "bang" to you, as in bang to the buck

**** you could say expletive 13s and go 12s with a boosted ls. i know 3 ppl personally that are in mid 12s at only 10 psi on a t3/to4e
on slicks of course

that wouldnt be very fun on the streets though, you couldnt get on it alot and you cant drive on slicks..... maybe if you boost low but who in their right mind would boost low

Re: (Kyles ej1)
I run a 1994 b18b (90k miles)that I paid $350 for in my eg6 hatch... It's got a turbonetics cast t3/t4 turbo manifold, turbonetics deltagate mark II external wastegate, a rebuilt Switzer turbo off a John Deer combine (.63 a/r turbine, .61 a/r compressor), first generation DSM bov, 3" downpipe, 450cc DSM injectors, Apexi SAFC II, Stock Ignition, and a LS Trans ($300).... For the turbo setup I paid just under $1000 for everything... Manifold was new ($280), wastegate used ($105), Switzer Turbo ($115 got a crazy good deal on it), DSM bov used ($30), SAFC($200), DSM injectors used ($50), OBD 0 resistor box off integra ($15), used 22" FMIC ($100), fabricated my 3" downpipe ($50). There's other little things that factor into turbo setups such oil lines, intercooler piping, stuff like that... but you can build a decient turbo setup for under 1500 bucks easy. When everything was all said and done... car runs mid 13's on street tires... and that's at 7-8PSI... and I've run 12-15psi with a decient tune and it pulls a lot harder. I would boost a LS way before I dish out the cash for a H22, swap mounts, nitrous setup, and everything else...
