Default Lowering virgin EJ1 - How replace the stock shocks?

So i am an absolute noob to hondas all my friends have them and work on them but im more of a domestic guy i build mustangs (my dad owns HRE if anyone knows us) and i bought this 94 Honda Civic Coupe Ex for $1500 from a old man...134,000 miles on it...i will post some pics i have but first i wanted to ask you guys what all i have to take off or unbolt to get the stock shocks out. I am in the process of lowering it but got stuck...

bump i really need help on this guys...i took the nut off the top of the strut and the two off the bottom of the strut (not sure if i was supposed to) but its still stuck....any help me????

there are two bolts in the engine bay sitting next to where the shock goes thru (14 or 15mm) undo those and loosen the bolt that is on the fork and you should be able to pull it out. in the rear, climb in the trunk like you are getting smuggled across the border, there are two more bolts (per shock) undo them and undo the bolt on the lca and they will come out. Also search is your best friend on here. Everyone will tell you that. ok so everything i did was right so now all i got to do to the front is take the two bolts out that are right the at the nut in top of the strut right
