Default Lowering springs in front only?

Researched but couldn't find much. So my del sol is lower in the rear than in the front, I think my body kit may be retarded from Extreme Dimensions. My rear bumper is freakin lowww, though I am running on stock steelies right now. My front bumper is substantially higher off the ground than my rear. Of course i'll be going to bigger rims (probably 16's), but has anyone put lowering springs only on the front of your car? Or is that stupid... I know most will say put on adjustable coilovers on so I can adjust my ride to fit how I want it, but.. $1k? That's a little much. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Maybe find out why the rear is lower BEFORE you actually try fixing it.
