Default lowering question

Hi I just got a set of 16 inch rims for my 97 civic and I was wondering what the best lowering kit is for that size of rim. I want no rubbing and a smooth ride.

Thanks Josh

i have an eibach kit, 1.4 in front, 1.2 in back, ride quality is ok but you lose some performace of a full stiff coilover setup. id go with teins basic springs or some eibachs

Everyone will frown at your question but I was there too, ground control with koni yellow! There's a possibility you could want more drop later on. I also thought I didn't want that much but I went with everyone's advice and went ground control coilover and koni yellow. I couldn't be any happier with my investment. Think about it this way if you go with gc/koni you will spend more. However, you will have the versatility of getting the height you want. Springs well what you see is what you get and that's all there is to it. Bottom line, springs may not be enough.

All depends on what the car is used for.
