Hey, Im going with koni str t orange struts and lowerig springs which will be between 1.5-1.75 lowered. will i need a camber kit or will i be fine? I dont want to find out that my tires go bald. Thanks

But you dont need a camber kit. Just get an alignment and you will be fine.

Alignment after lowering is all that is needed. No camber kit is required.

The main use of a camber kit is for track (autocross). It allows you to adjust the camber according to how you want it to feel and handle on the track.
But people who have low offset wheels also use em to allow their wheels to sit flush.

I have mine dropped on function and form type 1's and its WAY lower than what yours will be. Trust me you wont need a camber kit. An alignment is all that is needed. I wish I had my paper of my alignment so I could show youo but im at work so Ill post it when I get home if I remember

ok, should i replace the bump stops there only 20 bucks for all 4. Car has 145k miles on it. What do you think? My friend is doing the work

Same here, type 1's on my da lowered all the way without messing with preload. Had it like this for 2 months with no alignment so far and tires are still excellent.

It would be good to replace any worn out bushings to get an accurate alignment. If you go to a "Professional" alignment shop, they wont even do ur alignment unless all the worn bushings are replaced.

There are the front LCA bushings, Ball joint bellows, tie rod ends could go bad, upper control arm bushings, etc.... Have it inspected first. If things need replacing, have ur friend replace em. Then take it back for the alignment.

also im not sure of the name of it but alot of ppl have the bolts break on the bottom of the struts/ forks didnt happen to me but maybe i just got lucky just make sure you have some extras around just in case

the tie rods are good ive replace the inners with moog. the outters are still stock but ive checked the wheel off the ground and theres no movement. What about bump stops im not sure if thats considered a bushing.

Ya bump stops too. It wouldnt hurt to replace em.

when the inner tie rods were dont nothing was mentioned about bushings or anything other then tie rod boots and the auto techer said the outter tie rods. I had him check everything for me

im looking at bump stops at carpartswholesale though and the bump stops have all different shapes it appears?

when i bought my coilovers it didnt come with new bolts that mount it to the lca so I had to reuse my old ones....however I have heard that these are prown to seizing up and snapping when you try to take them off so be careful

lower control arm. try searching alot of the forums for some good info, write-ups, and pics of other ppl and how they did the install. you will learn alot
