Default LOWERING?

I just bought my 99 hx 1.5 months ago, and im about to lower it myself. but im scared to do it, i lowered my 88 crx with no major problems, all the bolts came out pretty easily, even though it was 13 years old, but me and a friend tried to lower a 94 integra and broke the bolts(2) on the lower control arm, is there anything i can do to not have this happen to my new baby, anyone who has lowered a honda please help, TEAM HART 4 LIFE

use air tools

I have done like ten spring shock installations. broke bolts on 3 or 4 of them. with the hand tools.

What he said, if you don't have air tools..make sure you use wd40 or something equal to help the install. Good luck with it.

so, the air gun should work? Because after the bolts broke we went to the local Ac dealership, and pickup a control arm and have not had a chance to try again yet. i just dont want to pay 80.00 for a damn control arm for my car, because i could pay 100 a have a shop put them on, but i rather do it myself because i know i care about my car.

we have a air gun but that was our last resort, but now it will be first. We tried liquid wrench but that did not do much, but get us dizzy

you can either drill out the bolts, or get a used lca for like 20 bucks at your local scrap yard.

but yes, air tools will do it no problem

we wnet to local yards and they were sellin the ENTIRE rear susp. from the strut bolts inside the car to the disk brakes all we needed was the l.c.a., but i might go back and buy the whole thing so i can do the rear disk conversion, and sell the rest of the parts, and buy the master cylinder.

WD40 will help for sure. Spray a little bit before u start to work on it. And what I do is I lubricate both of the LCA bolts(the one right under the damper and the one closer to the brakes) with anti-seize. It minimize the chance of the bolt seize up in the bushing.
