lowered my car...but things starts to happen...
I've installed the Dropzone coilovers i've bought and also got the Dropzone camber kits to go with it. Lowered it to about 1.5 w/ 17" rims. After installing them, I've done the alignment and test drive my car and I've noticed:
1. hard steering
2. fender rub on hard corners in the front
Any ways to help fix these problems? I want to keep my 17" rims and have less rub as possible though.

what size tires?? What offset on the rims?
I have 17x7 with 205/40r17 and don't have a rub problem with 2"+ drop. I can't even get a finger inbetween the tire and the wheelwell, and it doesn't rub. Maybe you don't have the correct offset, or too wide or tall of a tire. I have to look up what offset I am running.

I have a 17x7 with 205/40r17. I can put my fingers in between the tires and the fenders just fine. I think the gap is about 2 cm. I'll have to look up my offset also.

Sounds like you have a offset issue. With larger wheels sometimes you have to run more negative camber to keep them from rubbing.

Yes more negative camber does wear the inside of the tire out a little faster but it's toe that really wears them out quick. If your toe is set correctly you can run a little negative camber and as long as you rotate your tires you should get plently of life out of a set. It's the price you pay for having larger wheels.
Your other option would be to roll your fenders to allow more room for the tires that or possibly get something with a better offset. Did you figure out what their offsets are?

get stiffer shocks. When you turn, the weight of your car shifts to on side. I was rubbing with 15's. after shocks, my car is flat when I turn and no more rubbing.

Yeah. I still use the stock shocks/struts....I think it's about time for me to upgrade them for better suspension. I might as well sell my 17s and buy 15s since 15s can launch much faster, etc.
