Lowered car and now....
I put on some sprint springs and kyb agx struts. The back dropped maybe an inch but the front is slammed the wheel is tucked up in the fender. I can fit three fingers in the rear and not even one in the front. Is this right???? The ride seems bouncy in the front too.

Sprint springs? Not familiar with that brand. What drop did it specify it would give you with those springs?
I had a problem with mine when they were installed. The front was slightly higher than the rear. It just needed some time to settle in. Most springs are progressive, as in it takes some time to get the max amount of lowering out of them.

Re: (e-kay)
I bought them used from a buddy and he says he remembers them being 2". It just looks wierd cuz the front in really slammed. Could I have possibly put the fronts on the rear and vice versa, How can I tell I put them on correct?

If you can look at the springs and find out what the rates are and post it here. If you're not sure what to look at to find the rate just look at the spring itself and tell us what is written on them.

Progressive/linear has nothing to do with that whatsoever... Don't post if you don't know.

Narrower coil up front, wider coil in the back.

Re: (JRI94)
The ones I put on back where narrow and the gap between each coil was consistent the whole way through the whole spring. The ones I put on front where fatter and the gap between the each coil seemed to get closer and closer as they went up.
Does that mean I am stupid and put them on wrong?

I meant they might need time to set in. Mine were high when they were first installed and 1 year after they are lower.

Are you 100% sure I put them wrong. I don't wanna tear back into them if I don't have to.

Re: (b18bme)
Really sounds like you put them on backwards. You're going to have to lay back into them anyway, might as well do it now to switch up. It won't be as much of a pain to install the second time around.

Re: (b18bme)
i looked but i cant tell just by seeing that. it does seem that u got it backwards. i am like 90% sure of this. just use common sense. the front doesnt need the springs that slam it like that because it has the weight of the motor to drop it as well. the back would need the coils themselves to lower it more, because theres not much weight back there. i say u got it backwards is my vote. i know u dont want to redo it, but since u already did the initial hard part by putting them on, everything should be nice and loose and easy to come off. shouldnt take u more than 15 mins or so per corner to remove them

Re: (b18bme)
lol. This is funny but anyways. My friends did this with some Neuspeed Springs. The front was like 2.5" while the rear end still looked stock. So I also agree that you put them on wrong. To Sprint Springs.

Re: (DixieRedneck)
alright, i'm hearing a lot of, "you put them in wrong comments" which kinda sounds like the case, but...
...i'm also hearing alot of "wider in the back and narrow in the front"
when i had my GC coils put in the stock rear suspension housed the longer narrower springs and the front housed the wider shorter springs
why the descrepancy?

Sounds as though you may have had those on backwards as well. I JUST went and looked at my car and I am 1000% (yes, one thousand) positive that they are on backwards. The narrower go in the front and the wider springs go in the back.
