Lower timing cover. A nessecity?
I have a b16a. I have the cover but it's not in the best of shape. I have seen people with them off, but I was wondering if that is really a good idea. What are the detriments of not running one? Can I leave mine off? Kind of looks cool without it. Thanks in advance.

First of all this a tech forum on 92-00 civics, not boosting you civic. That would be under the forced induction section of the site. Second, it becomes a problem when someone is trying to get info on one subject and has to root through all the jacking to get what they need. So quit being an AS***LE.

So do you have an extra one or something. I now see this is the case. That is why I am asking for one. Thanks for the input though.

As for the cover... leave it on. It's there for a good reason.
