lower control arm help

Default lower control arm help

sup everyone? Im about to buy a hatchback, everything is pretty good except for the lower control arm. he said I need to replace them, I can drive it around but recommends that I get them replaced. can anyone tell me what are lower control arms and what they do and wuts their importance? thanks alot

i think he said his car was in a accident and the lower control arm was affected and thats it for the suspension cuz his car is like dropped wit negative camber so he told me to get it replace, its still drivable

please someone tell me what are lower control arms? are those the things that hold the brake, springs and the lug to the car? do yu think its hard to replace them myself?

skip it. tell him you'll be back when it's fixed correctly.

who knows what else is fucked up on that car, when you slam into something hard enough to bend an lca, other **** is broken too, more often than not.

lower control arms have one attachment point at the rear lower subframe, one at the bottom rear shock mount, and one at the rear "knuckle."

oh ic...he said his front lower control arm are not good...it sounds like its not hard to fix....can i fit integra lower control arms on those the 90-2000 model? i heard they were stronger

its the piece the bottom of your rear strut connects to. its that whole arm not just the bushing

ahh i think i got it now..thanks for all yur help, but one more thing, do you think i should get integra LCA's or do 5 lug conversion? cuz type r rims look madd hot so wut u guyz think

Lower control arms have nothing to do with 5-lug conversions. 5-lug conversions consist of hubs, rotors, and calipers. You still need to change your front lower control arms if they are bent. Integra or Civic, it doesn't matter, just find what is cheaper at a junkyard.
