since the ball joint is pressed in, what i will usually do is remove the steering knuck from the car and take it to a local shop. they press the old ball joint out and the new one in for $10. saves a lot of hassle in my opinion.

If you can find a shop to do it for $10, then that's not too bad. Note, however, that the ball joint tool and adpators are free rentals at AutoZone (fee refunded after tool return).

my way real simple...
1. take knuckle off
2. remove c clip
3. bang old one out with hammer
4. bang new one in with hammer
5. put c clip on
6. put knuckle back on
7.ENJOY

Many people join H-T because they would rather ask Honda enthusiasts to answer their tech questions than search the internet. That's their choice. If you are unhappy with their choice, then you are under no obligation to post in their threads. That's the choice I want you (or any other members of this forum) to make if your only contribution is to tell members to search the internet.
