Low RPMs bogs/hesitation/die
Hello,
I’ve been having this problem for some time now. No CEL
At low RPMs, car tends to bog/hesitation/die. When I release and apply gas, and or floor board, the symptoms tend to go away for a little and then return. When I get up to speed, it tends to go away and remains fine until low RPMs.
2000 Honda Civic DX
D16Y8 (Swap)
P28 ECU w/ Jumper
Things I have changed since problem.
Fuel Pump (AEM, Forgot the LPH)
Fuel Filter
Main Relay
TPS
MAP
Distributor
Spark Plugs & Wires
IACV

Re: Low RPMs bogs/hesitation/die
I had the same issue when my y7 blew I swapped in another y7 just to find out there's such thing as obd2a and odb2b I had zero low end power and tried a lot of things and didn't work , maybe your swap came from a different obd2??

My Honda is a obd2b harness w/jumper obd2b to obd1 p28.
The p28 came from a delso but unsure of the year.

Re: Low RPMs bogs/hesitation/die
It idles fine around 600 rpm, but motor does have a seizure like moment. When that happens, that's when the car does it bogging/hesitation/dies.
I adjusted the screw to stock; correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 2 1/2 turns.
And forgot to mentioned that in new parts. New Idle Air Control Valve

Is it possible for you fuel pump to draw to much power?
if so what is a solution to fix this problem?
Put a thicker gauge for ground?
