low rpm
Hi, I own a Honda Civic EG8(1992)D15B VTEC JDM and I have a problem with rpm.
When I start the engine idle speed starts to 200-400 rpm.
It doesn't make the same all the time.
when I stop at traffic lights, idle speed drops from 700 to 400 and after the idle speed is back to normal. Pls help me.ty

Re: low rpm
Check your base timing, and make sure the timing belt hasn't jumped. I would also run a leakdown test to make sure there isn't any valve damage to start off with. Then do what the guy above me said.

Re: low rpm
When u pull it off the manifold u will see that it has a mesh filter. That's what you clean with carb cleaner or brake clean(anything that evaporates)
DO NOT SOAK IT by any means
