Low idle and slight bog
Hey guys, just wondering what your thoughts were on this:
I have a 98 ex, d16y8, stock at the moment. New sparks/wires/dizzy, 129,7xx miles. Car's in pretty good shape, other than this. My car's idle is extremely low, usually around 300-400rpm if I had to estimate, and while driving, until I get to about 4k rpm, I have no power, it's like I'm just feathering the gas. I'm thinking this could be vacuum issue, but I assume it could be other things as well. I'm looking to run a compression and leakdown test soon, but until then, does anyone have any ideas? If you need more info, not a problem.

Re: Low idle and slight bog (RonJ@HT)
No CEL, timing might be off, I'll take a look within a day or two. Higher RPM's seem fine. Also, another question if anyone has some insight. I've noticed if I put the car in neutral or hold the clutch in while slowing down/coming to a stop (I usually don't, I brake with the engine quite often), my engine speed will hold at about 1200rpm or so until I'm completely stopped, then it will drop to almost dying speed, then of course come back up a bit to around 400. Any reason for this? Normal? I'm not coming to a quick stop or anything, it's fairly smooth and I take my time coming to a stop.

I figured as much. I'll take a look at it all soon, thanks for your help. Anything else to check over? I am still a novice so I'm sure I'll miss something.
