Low Idle Problem 95 Civic Vx
Once my car warms up and it's semi-warm outside, the car will idle VERY low in neutral and will sometimes stall. It starts right up again, but the car has a newer o2 sensor, new wires, plugs, cap, rotor, air filter.
The grounds have been cleaned up and are intact, and the car has a new battery.
Maybe the EGR needs to be cleaned out?
I don't think it's a vacumm leak b/c I don't hear hissing in the engine bay, and the idle is very good most of the time.
It could possibly be timing I suppose, that is something I need to check.
Could anything else even be causing this problem?
I'm just wondering if this is a normal problem with these Vx motors. I have never owned a D series before but I remember my old 80s accord had a problem similar to this, and I eventually got frustrated when I replaced everything and the problem didn't go away.

Re: Low Idle Problem 95 Civic Vx (Danronian)
Im having the same Idling problem on my 99 SI. i checked and replaced everything but it still didn't solve the problem. I replaced the Air filter, fuel filter, IAC Valve, wires and spark plugs. I think my IAC valve was busted anyway so cleaning it may help.

Damn, thats good you said PCV. I now remember it being snapped...there's my vacumm leak and the source of the smell in my car when I beat on it...damn it. I think I'm just going to throw the timing belt/water pump/ tensioner on my 100k mi vx motor and say screw that broken valve...they are always such a bitch to get out of the intake part that holds them...
