Default low idle, bogging, help fast!

ok i have a 95 civic 5 spd. with the d16, the motor came from an automatic if that helps any in this....
anyways, the idle after the car is warmed up is around 450-700-ish rpm's, not even 1000 and it dies sometimes at stoplights and stuff, as if from reving too low.

also, when im driving lets say in 3rd, sometimes if i floor it or give it a decent amount of gas it sounds like its kinda bogging. any ideas? i just bought this car, is it possible the timing is advanced or retarted? i need help quick, thanks!

i have no clue on this one

did you ever adjust the idle ? it doesnt really matter if the motor came from an auto or 5spd. as long as the tranny ur using matches to the ecu.

yeah take your distributor cap off, and tighten the screw on your rotor. Also make sure no water is in the distributor. When it is idling does it sound like it is puttering? Any cels?

yeah, its kinda like it will try to idle at 1,000 like its supposed to, but it'll drop to even 200, put, sputter a little (not loud) and do that for a while, and then sometimes die.

what does cels mean?

i never had a car with a distributor (had plug boots, not wires) how do i take it off, and where is the rotor located? sorry, im kinda dumb

ok, i took the distributor cap off...and im lost lol. i saw a black box type thing with a plastic rotor looking part...is this the rotor? there was no screw on it...the only screws i saw exposed were the two on the right side.....is there another screw to tighten down, or were these the right ones?

also, do you think adjusting the idle would just solve it, if so, how do you do that?

there is a screw on top of the throttle body...its usually covered in wax to keep people from tampering with it/to keep it from vibrating lose. you really shouldnt mess with it though unless for tuning purposes. Have you ever messed with the throttle cable at all? if so that could be an issue as well.
