low idle after installing aftermarket radio?
Hey all,
I've got a 2000 Honda Civic that I just installed a Sony aftermarket radio in. Now my problem is on my drive home I noticed my car idling really low. At a stop light it would idle at maybe a notch or 2 above zero and it felt like it was on the verge of stalling though it never did. And also my speedometer seems a little sluggish and slow to react. Anybody know what it might be? I had no problems with the car before. What could I have messed up? Seems kind of odd. Thanks much!

No I havent. But I followed the instructions from installdr.com and everything went smooth. I used a wiring harness so I didnt cut any wires or anything. Its the first time I've disconnected the battery since owning the car I'm wondering if it could have lost some computer settings or something? I dunno

If you don't have a check engine light or any codes in the ecu, just drive it around for a week or so and see if the car starts to run better. You might of just reset the ecu.
